Being one of the fastest growing cities in the world, high quality infrastructure facilities are imperative in the city of Dubai. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) was formed in 2005 with the purpose of enhancing public transport facilities. RTA is responsible for the planning and providing infrastructure facilities in Dubai and between Dubai and other Emirates of the UAE and neighbouring countries.
