Quality in all process
To ege, quality means security. It means never compromising on things that matter.
Each carpet from ege is thoroughly tested and approved in accordance with the standards of the strict European EN 1307 standard. The standard imposes strict demands on factors such as:
• wear-resistance
• colourfastness
At ege, we go beyond meeting the obligatory standards of EN 1307. All our carpets are also tested and declared for a wide range of other factors such as acoustic properties, static electricity and castor chair suitability.
ISO 9001
ege was the first carpet manufacturer in Europe to receive ISO 9001 certification, the European standard for quality management. This quality system helps us to ensure the consistent high quality of our products.
The quality management system is used as an instrument to control and implement quality objectives in the company. The system:
• contains policies, procedures and instructions for all quality activities.
• ensures regular follow-up.
• is internally audited.
• is externally audited every 6th month by Bureau Veritas Certification.
CE labelling
All products from ege are CE labelled ensuring that all ege products meet the requirements of the CE standard in terms of:

• Well-being and environment
• Safety
• Energy saving
• Thermal insulation
