Environment, health and safety through CE marking


CE stands for “Conformité Européenne”, meaning “conforms to EU Directives”. CE marking on a product is the manufacturer’s declaration that the product complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation. 

The harmonied standard EN 14041 apply for CE certification of textiles, resilient and laminate flooring coverings.

 

To permit the use of a CE mark on a product, proof that the product meets all relevant requirements must be documented.
